That’s Not My Book
4December 27, 2016 by Anne Tenino
Update: It looks like the book is no longer on Amazon, so thank you for your help!
Angel of Pleasure is not my book. Someone has a Kindle book for sale under that title, using my pen name. Tenino is a very rare name, and the chances someone would have the exact same name and be writing gay romance? Astronomical.
Apparently Amy Lane and Eli Easton have also had their pen names stolen. So, yeah, I’m certain it isn’t a coincidence.
I’m asking for your help. Please tell anyone who cares that this isn’t my book. If you feel so inclined, leave a review on the Amazon page saying it’s someone stealing my name. There are already got five reviews on the Goodreads page for the book saying so, and I’m very grateful.
Now, because I feel like a post without a picture is a waste, I’ll paste in one of my new headshots, which I probably should have put up a while ago . . . This one is the “smirking” version, which I won’t be using when I want people to take me seriously. Heh. It does, however, adequately portray my current state of mind.
wow rude comment. She is an amazing writer.
Thanks! I deleted that comment because it’s my blog, so why should I have to keep it if it annoys me?
Amy Lane, Eli Easton, Jeff Erno, ZA Maxfield, and now you – the list is growing. I hope Amazon deals with this swiftly.
They did, very swiftly, although Amy told me it took days to get them to deal with hers. I think I just got in on it when they were finally figuring it out and ready to act.
