Frat Boy & Toppy comes a week from today and I’m freaking exhausted. I shouldn’t be. How hard is it to launch an ebook? And hell, I have a week still.

Except all my blog posts for my tour are due today, and I got my swag and needed to take pictures so I could post them, and my daughters both have various lessons on Sunday, plus the older one had a performance (for her trapeze class! It rocked) and the husband went out of town for the week this morning and he had some weird freaking idea that I might actually want to go grocery shopping before he left and he kept bugging me to do it . . . you get the idea.

So, it’s after midnight on Sunday (therefore Monday), and I’m lying in bed quietly freaking out about all the crap I didn’t do and need to do tomorrow and I remembered “I never wrote a post for my own blog!”

Of course it wasn’t as simple as writing a post for my blog. I had to download the pictures I took of the swag (aided by my lovely assistant, 10-year-old). Which meant I had to find a cable to connect the camera to the computer.

I looked for a half-hour. I didn’t find a cable, but I did take a picture  (with my phone) of the drawer where we keep the various electronics cables. Keep in mind, it’s half-excavated.

What I’m trying to tell you is I have no swag pics, and we’re disorganized.

Except I do have an image of the cover flats Riptide ordered for me for the book, because I could put that in the scanner. Oh, here’s a picture of the scanner before I took the junk off it to use it. I took this picture with my phone too, that’s probably why it sucks.

Now is when I note that this is nominally my husband’s office. In reality, our daughters are in here more than either of us. When he needs to work at home, he sits on the couch with his laptop. I have a desk upstairs wedged in next to more of the kids’ junk.

So! The cover flats—the front is the image on the left of the book cover, and the back is the text on the right. I have about 100 of these, (I think). Anyone who wants one can email me at anne@annetenino.com with a mailing address and I’ll send you one.
